Apply for the scholarship via Mobility Online before April 1, 2025
The NL Scholarship, formerly known as the Holland Scholarship, is a prestigious opportunity offered by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, along with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. It is designed to support students embarking on study, research, or internships outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Who is Eligible?
UT students aiming to pursue study, research, or internships abroad are eligible to apply for the NL Scholarship. Please note that the number of scholarships is limited, with each faculty having a small allocation. For the academic year 2023-2024, all scholarships have been awarded.
Scholarship Amount and Conditions
Recipients of the NL Scholarship receive a total contribution of €2,500 towards their study or internship expenses. To qualify, applicants must meet certain conditions:
Going abroad in the UT academic year 2024/2025
Apply for the scholarship via Mobility Online before April 1, 2025
Enrolled in a full-time program at UT
Not enrolled in a double degree program
Planning to use the scholarship for a study, research, or internship lasting at least 7 weeks with a minimum of 10 ECTS
Scholarships cannot be combined with other UT Exchange Scholarships or another NL Scholarship for International Students
The study, research, or internship must take place in a country outside the EEA
Applicants must not have received an NL Scholarship before, and it cannot be used for study or internship in their home country
How to Apply
Applications are processed through Mobility Online, with a recommendation to apply at least 2 months before departure. After registering the mobility, applicants will access the scholarship questions in their workflow. Scholarships are allocated based on availability and eligibility, with the highest scholarship amount awarded if eligible for multiple scholarships.
