Formerly known as the Holland Scholarship, the NL Scholarship is designed for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees in the Netherlands. The scholarship provides €5,000, disbursed in the first year of study.
Application Criteria:
Non-EEA nationality
Admission to a Bachelor or Master program
No prior study experience in the Netherlands
Meet specific application requirements of Amsterdam University of the Arts
Meet admission requirements of chosen program
Minimum TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent
Ability to articulate ideas in written English
Strong motivation for success in chosen field
Team spirit and adaptability in international settings
Financial eligibility for Dutch visa
Application and Deadlines:
Apply for the NL Scholarship concurrently with Bachelor program application.
Application opens October 1. Deadline: May 1, 2024. Non-European applicants: April 1, 2024.

Register on Studielink.
Submit application documents via Osiris Application database: CV, motivation letter, passport copy, diploma/transcript, English language test results.
Await decision from application committee, which may include an interview.
If accepted, proceed with study residence permit (visa) application for non-European applicants.
