At IHE's Delft campus in the Netherlands, a small number of graduate students are given scholarships each year. These grants are intended to foster enduring, fruitful relationships between Rotarians and highly qualified water and sanitation specialists in their local communities.

Each scholarship has a total cost of € 32,500 ($34,211 @ 0.95).
Financial support for the Global Grant is encouraged from the neighbourhood Rotary Club. Preferably $5,000, or at the very least, a sum that the club can carry.
The district Foundation Committee is another resource the club should use to secure a District Designated Fund (DDF) contribution.
Once more, preferably $5,000, or any other sum the Committee is able to provide.
Eligibility Requirements for Rotary Scholarships 2024 :
Rotary is looking for scholars who want to use their knowledge to better people's lives both locally and globally. Scholars will be expected to maintain a strong academic record and take part in the activities listed below:
• Send monthly updates to Rotarian sponsors in their home country about the educational programme and their cultural experiences.
• Deliver at least one presentation at a Dutch Rotary club or district event.
• Deliver at least one presentation at a district conference of Rotary in their country.
Selected students are urged to return home and collaborate with Rotarian sponsors on a project to improve water and sanitation in their local area.
Note: Employees of a club, district, or other Rotary entity, as well as Rotarians, their spouses, and lineal descendants are not eligible to apply.
Rotary Scholarships 2024 Application instructions:
Students accepted to the 12-month Master of Science programme in Water and Sustainable Development at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education may be nominated by a local Rotary Club in their hometown by sending the scholarship application form to the Rotary/IHE Delft committee in the Netherlands along with the student's resume and the IHE Delft admission letter.
Only applications that have been submitted there Applications by the sponsoring Rotary Club and are fully completed will be taken into consideration. You can use this website to locate the Rotarian club that is closest to you: https://my.rotary.org/en/search/club-finder
The Rotary/IHE Delft committee in the Netherlands must receive the Scholarship application via email at rotary.ihescholarship@gmail.com.
Since you cannot apply for the scholarship without an admission letter, we advise you to prepare and submit your online application for admission to the MSc programme in Water and Sustainable Development 2024 as soon as possible.
