About American Legion Baseball Scholarship 2023 :
Each year, the American Legion provides scholarships worth between $22,000 and $25,000 to deserving baseball players. The recipient of this scholarship may be chosen by each department's baseball committee from among its members. Each year, the American Legion will give out a number of scholarships, depending on the number of applicants and interest the trust fund generates.

About American Legion Baseball Scholarship 2023 :
Department Baseball Scholarship Winners receive $500 as their award.
Each Department Baseball scholarship winner must be certified in order to be considered for The American Legion All-Academic Team, which is annually sponsored by Diamond Sports.
The American Legion World Series scholarship committee will award additional $2,500 scholarships to eight players.
A ninth player will receive a $5,000 scholarship in addition to being named the All-Academic Team's most outstanding member.
Winners of the departmental $500 scholarship for the All-Academic Team will keep it.
After graduating from a high school that has earned accreditation, scholarship recipients will be qualified to receive their awards right away. Scholarship recipients must use the entire amount of their award, minus any time spent in the military, within eight (8) years of the date of their graduation.
Requirements for Eligibility
- Include a copy of the participant's certified high school transcript.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have a current roster listed with National Headquarters (American Legion National Baseball Electronic Registration Form).
- Participate on a group that is connected to an American Legion post.
- Include three letters of support with your application.
