Strong applicants will be able to connect this to the learning outcomes of their course of study and how it will help them.

Where the Developing Solutions ethos is clearly demonstrated, applications will be reviewed in accordance with more traditional scholarship criteria, such as your reasons for studying at Nottingham and notable achievements.

Make sure you have enough time to prepare solid responses. When making scholarship decisions, we will consider your responses as well as your academic merit.

Please keep in mind that there is a strict word count limit for all questions, which is listed at the bottom of each one. Because the system does not automatically limit this, you should double-check your application before submitting it. Responses that exceed the specified word count may not be reviewed.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship prerequisites requirements

You are not required to respond to your offer before applying for this scholarship; however, awards will be made only to students who accept their offer to study with Nottingham

Before making any awards, Nottingham will review all scholarship applications. You may be offered a scholarship for 50% or 100% of your tuition. In early July 2023, Nottingham will contact you to confirm the outcome of your application.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from your tuition fees at the University of Nottingham. they will not pay you directly for tuition fee scholarships.

Students may be eligible to apply for more than one University of Nottingham award in some cases. Please keep in mind that a Developing Solutions Award will never be combined with a Regional Scholarship, and if you are offered both, the highest value award will take precedence. Occasionally, students may be offered Developing Solutions in addition to an Academic School scholarship or a Sporting award. To maximise the reach of the University's Scholarships offering, we aim not to double award, but in exceptional cases where the combined total does not exceed 100% of tuition fees, this may be possible.
