Introduction
One of the main initiatives of the TaiwanICDF, among many others, has always been international education and training. Programs for the development of human resources are essential to helping partner nations achieve sustainable development, and education is a key tool for preparing the labour force in developing nations. In collaboration with esteemed partner universities in Taiwan, the TaiwanICDF has created undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes and offers scholarships for further education.
Scholarship Benefits
The TaiwanICDF will offer each student with the full scholarship throughout the time period specified in their award letter, including round-trip flights, lodging, tuition, credit fees, insurance, textbook costs, and a monthly stipend.
Allowance:
(1). Undergraduate Program: Each student will get NT$12,000 per month for food and other living expenses for the duration of the programme. The money will be put into the student's local bank account each month.
(2). Master's Program: Each student will get NT$15,000 per month for food and other living expenses during the program's duration. The money will be put into the student's local bank account each month.
(3). Ph.D. Program: As allowance for food and other living expenses, each student will receive NT$17,000 per month for the duration of the programme. The money will be put into the student's local bank account each month.
Eligibility Criteria for
TaiwanICDF Scholarship
1. Be a citizen of one of the nations listed on the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Eligibility List and meet any further requirements imposed by his or her country and/or government of citizenship.
2. Not be an overseas compatriot student or a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
3. Meet the entrance requirements of the partner university to which he or she has applied in order to pursue a scholarship from the TaiwanICDF.
4. Be able to meet all conditions for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) provided by the Ministry of the Interior of the ROC (Taiwan) government and a Resident Visa (Code: FS) set by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (this means that the TaiwanICDF has the right to revoke a scholarship offered if an applicant cannot satisfy the visa requirements).
5. After accepting a TaiwanICDF scholarship, the recipient must not hold any government-sponsored scholarship from the Republic of China (ROC Taiwan), such as the Taiwan Scholarship, during the academic year in which the TaiwanICDF scholarship is scheduled to begin.
6. Candidates who have previously held a TaiwanICDF scholarship, a MOFA's Taiwan Scholarship, or a MOE scholarship must have graduated by July 31, 2023, in order to be eligible to apply for a 2024 scholarship. 7.
7. Have never been expelled from a Taiwanese university or had a scholarship cancelled by a ROC (Taiwan) government agency or connected organisation.

Regarding the Application System
Online applications must be completed by applicants. Please fill out your application online at TaiwanICDF Scholarship Online Application System (Application Dates: January 1 - March 15, 2024), and then deliver a signed, printed copy of it, along with all other necessary application materials, to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office located in your nation. It should be noted that each candidate may only submit one application at a time. The applicant must additionally submit a separate programme application to the universities of his or her choice.
